I’m New

Thank you for visiting our website.

.

We would be very happy to have you worship with us. We desire to give glory to God in all things. This is the reason we were created. However, in order to glorify God you must believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, whom God sent to the earth to be a Saviour.

.

Each of us is separated from God by our sin. The Bible says that “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). This puts us under the judgment of God: “For the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). However, God has provided a way of salvation from that judgment, as He goes on to say: “but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23). This gift of salvation is the only way to have peace with God: “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

.

Every of us needs to be reconciled to Him. We need a mediator – a kinsman redeemer – to bring us into fellowship with a holy God. Christ can do this because He is both God and man. He speaks to us as God and He represents His people as a man. How this works is a great mystery, but it is wonderfully true.

.

There is no need to continue in the guilt and misery of sin when God offers to forgive sin through the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ.

.

“What must I do to be saved?” asked the Philippian jailer to Paul.

.

“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house,” replied Paul (Acts 16:37).

.

Simple, isn’t it? There is nothing for you to do, but believe. Believe you are a sinner and believe that Jesus is your Saviour. This is too simple for many people, but it is the gospel the way God explains it in His Word. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8, 9)
